As a Community Healthcare Assistant to Children, YP and Adults, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals in need of care and support services.

Experience preferred but not essential as all New employees will attend a full 5 day face to face induction course as a minimum along with a minimum of 16 hours shadowing in the field.

Duties:

  • Provide assistance and support to individuals in need of care and support services
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming and toileting
  • Assit with meals
  • Administer medication inline with training and caompany policy.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their famlies
  • Help clients with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany clients to appointments, outings and Social Groups as required
  • Documention and record keeping using electronic digital sytems and phone apps.

Skills:

  • Ability to provide compassionate and personcentered care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a car

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
