GJA Recruitment are looking for experienced Construction Snagging Specialist to join a reputable fast-growing team based in Preston for a 3-month contract with the possibility of a permanent contract.

As a Snagging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the completion of high-quality construction projects by identifying and rectifying any defects or issues during the final stages.

Position: Construction Snagging Specialist_
Salary: £16 an hour_
Duration: 3 months (with possibility for permanency)

  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed construction projects to identify and document any snagging issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to address and resolve identified defects.
  • Utilise your attention to detail and technical expertise to ensure all necessary adjustments and repairs are completed promptly and to the required standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of snagging activities and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on snagging activities and coordinating necessary actions.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple snagging tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Previous experience as a Snagging Specialist or similar role within the construction industry as an experiences tradesperson.
  • Indepth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with project teams.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Valid UK driving license.
