About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our preconstruction team at Warden Construction Ltd. As an estimator, you will play a crucial role in developing construction estimates and bid information to support the company's pursuit of new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage construction estimates and bid information
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction and business development teams to ensure competitive and high-quality responses for tender submissions
  • Abstract and report on contractual tender stage information
  • Manage tender information efficiently
  • Undertake tender site visits and take off and produce tender stage bills of quantities
  • Pricing of tender labour, plant, and material rates build-ups
  • Analysing supply chain enquiries for tender
  • Reporting for tender adjudication and communication and handover of estimates
  • Early engagement with client teams to provide cost advice and providing early stage project cost plans
  • Managing and reporting tender stage cost controls
Requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under own supervision
  • Self-motivation and ability to work to deadlines
  • Competence in computerised estimating and take-off software and general IT skills
  • Industry recognised construction related qualifications
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Drive and enthusiasm to succeed and improve
