Global Insight Conferences, a market-leading conference and exhibitions company, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, target driven and skilled confident sales person to join the sponsorship team
- A desire to develop skills and grow in the company.
- A proactive and positive attitude, including a passion for results and making things happen
- Minimum grade B/5 in Maths and English Language at GCSE (or the equivalent IB). Strong A Levels.
- 12 months+ minimum in work from Education exit in any role.
- Ambitious, driven, passionate and an extrovert personality
What will you be doing in the role?_
This varied role includes:
- Assisting the Commercial Development Manager with administrative tasks.
- Identifying the key sectors to sell into for the conferences.
- Management of current clients accounts and the sales databases.
- Marketing and copywriting.
- Researching new topics and industries and leads.
- Coldcalling new sales leads.
- Writing bespoke sponsorship packages.
- Attending client meetings.
- Running the conference and exceeding clients' expectations on the actual day at the conference either UK or abroad
