As an engaging corporate governance specialist you will have experience and knowledge to take on a wide range of responsibilities, including advising the Trust's Board of Directors and the Council of Governors.
Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Chairman you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Board and the Council and the support of their relevant committees.
As a full member of the Trust's Hospital Management Committee to you contribute to decision making on services for our patients, and on how we support and develop our 7,000 staff.
As a senior leader you will line manage the communication, risk, governance and executive support teams, and also the Freedom to Speak up Guardian.
You must be able to work effectively both within and externally to the Trust, including with regulators, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have or be able to evidence that you have or are working towards full ICSA qualifications.
The Trust is committed to supporting flexible working, however, for this role the expectation is that most of the working week will be on one of our sites, with some limited home working by agreement.
