About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our retail property acquisition efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new locations for our stores, negotiating leases, and managing our existing retail portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our CEO and Company Secretary to understand our growth strategy and brand aspirations
  • Analyse customer demographics and location profiles to optimise profit contribution dynamics
  • Identify and present potential locations and properties for acquisition, considering revenue generation and brand fit
  • Lead the end-to-end process of property acquisition, from identification to lease negotiation and contract finalisation
  • Build and maintain relationships within the property sector to secure favourable terms
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure new acquisitions are ready to trade quickly and lease events are managed sensitively

Requirements

  • Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable experience in retail property acquisition or a related field
  • Ability to develop and implement store optimisation strategies
  • Up-to-date market knowledge of the retail store landscape
  • Ability to analyse and present key store performance metrics
  • Understanding of property law, regulations, and leasing practices
  • Ability and desire to travel frequently
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
