As
Operations Manager you will already have a strong food and beverage background from within a 4 red star or a 5 star hotel in this newly created role to support the hotel General Manager.
As Operations Manager, we are looking for someone with a passion for service, leadership and employee performance management experience who will thrive with the freedom given to 'make a difference'.
Whilst supported by the Manager you will be responsiblefor the management of all food and beverage areas and take responsibility of Front of House areas during the General Managers absence.
Your role will be varied calling on your F&B experience, managing a whole range of tasks and responsibilities;Service delivery - ensuring the product & service continue to delight guests and meet the requirements of this prestigious hotel status and Mystery Guest standards. Not being afraid to 'jump in' and support the operation when needed.
Planning/Resourcing - ensuring the effective use of resources, staffing, stocks and effectively direct the departments to efficiently plan and deliver excellent service based on business levels in the hotel. Your ability to manage key Headsof Department will be key.
Operations:
- through effective management, supervision, guidance and control ensuring that the present and future operation is ready to deliver success on its objectives.
Systems - ensure all systems are operational (with the support of our Group IT Manager) and that all staff are trained and adhere to the operating standards of use.
Staffing and Performance Management - ensure that through selection, recruitment, training and coaching the very best standards of staff are maintained and developed. Making sure that each person within the team receives the guidance andfeedback necessary to be successful and operate in a safe way meeting current company and legal requirements.
Revenue Management - Ensuring all inhouse opportunities for sales are taken and liaising with Group Sales, Marketing and Revenue Managers to ensure financial targets are met.

The salary for the
Operations Manager is given as £45,000 / per annum (in addition there is a quarterly bonus scheme along with the basic salary on agreed objectives) / other company benefits available.
