About the role


Barnet's 0-19 Early Help Hubs bring together what were our former Children's Centre's, Family Support Team, Youth service, Early years' service and former CAF team into one integrated service.

Offering interventions across the continuum of need
- including parenting programmes, youth activities, through to leading on more complex cases such as those stepping down from Social Care or joint work on statutory cases.


Our Early Help services are designed to put the child first and promote resilience in children, young people and families.

The Service aims to provide timely and effective early intervention in order to prevent situations from escalating and to promote positive outcomes for children.


About you

Qualification requirement:
GCE, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a related field to children and young people


The post holder will be required to support the delivery of high-quality one-to-one and group work interventions for children, young people and families and be committed to developing professional knowledge and skills of 0-19 practice.

You will need to demonstrate that you have experience in direct work with families and the ability to provide comprehensive support to safeguard and promote the welfare of children within their homes.


You will take responsibility for your own caseload, including prioritising tasks, the keeping of accurate case records, and the completion and updating of risk assessments relating to service provision.

You will receive on going supervision and relevant training to further develop your skills.

Successful applicants would need to be able to take up the post as soon as possible.
