We are currently on the lookout for a Transport Administrator to support the transport and fleet department with various administrative tasks and reporting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has had exposure to a busy transport department who wants to develop their knowledge further.


Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of service/inspection schedule requirements of workshop machinery, tools and equipment
  • Coordination of fleets breakdowns & maintenance requirements
  • Tachograph calibrations
  • Vehicle taxation
  • Raise purchase order numbers & invoices as required
  • Analysis of the technician job sheets, data entry of working time, preventative maintenance, MOT, winter overhaul, and repairs onto the database
  • Issuing of purchase orders for contractors and suppliers both for equipment/general purchases. General administration of workshop invoices created from purchase orders, queries rectification analysis when required
  • Data entry of information/closing of active tasks and repairs on the database
  • Maintain accurate and efficient workshop equipment, fleet, plant, and other manuals/guides/maintenance manuals etc. in the library and digitally

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£12.50-£13.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Northwich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
