Job Introduction

Receptionist and Administration Assistant We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our dedicated Facilities team.

Your role and responsibilities as Receptionist and Administration Assistant

Reception

  • Based at our Head Office in Penrith, you will provide front of house support for all business support functions
  • You will liaise closely with all departments, ensuring that information and correspondence is passed on efficiently
  • You will organise meetings, book meeting rooms, and ensure that refreshments are provided for training and other events
  • Your role will involve managing stationary orders, filing documents, and maintaining necessary records.

Administration Assistant

  • You will support our Facilities Officer in providing support to our Home Managers. This includes, organising maintenance works, vehicle fleet management, organising vehicle repairs, and driving vehicles for planned services and MOTs
  • You will support the Facilities Officer with the procurement of items required for our homes and services.

Key qualities that we look for,

  • Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft packages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage your own time
  • A good understanding of handling confidential data
  • A motivational cando attitude and ability to support the development of a positive organisational culture
  • A full, UK driving licence.

Desirable qualities that we look for,

  • Experience of working within a fastpaced office environment in a similar role
  • Qualifications in business administration or similar
