RESPONSIBILITIES
The Event Sales Coordinator will form a key role in the event sales team. The main focus would be to provide administrative support to the events sales team.

Reporting directly to the head of event sales, you will also be responsible for managing smaller events right from initial enquiry stage, through to confirming and planning the event with client.


DUTIES

  • Administrative support for the event sales department, including (but not limited to) printing menus, updating weekly overviews, liaising with culinary and hotel teams on behalf of the events team, and assisting with contracting and billing.
  • To prepare and follow up with clients on proposals, quotations and contracts, maximising revenue opportunities
  • To conduct site visits of the hotel and event spaces
  • Maintain accurate client records and databases, and build strong relationships
  • To guide clients through the planning process, and ensure that all documentation is ready to handover to event ops team in good time
  • To work with the Hotel Sales team dealing with group booking enquires
  • To work closely with the Sales team to drive new business
  • A strong focus to achieve budgets and set targets
