My client are a provider of services to the NHS and are actively looking for their next Head of Workforce.

Please note experience in healthcare is a must for this role.

The Head of Workforce will be responsible for the strategic delivery of an active clinical workforce


Working in collaboration key stakeholders, the post holder will provide leadership to the workforce planning, resourcing and maintenance teams ensuring the highest quality standard service, optimisation of the workforce systems functionalities and workforce data reporting, analysis, and presentation across our clients clinical workforce.

The post holder will provide visible, credible and innovative leadership in order to deliver a high-quality workforce service, coaching and supporting direct reports in delivery of annual departmental strategies and operational plans.

Skills needed


Significant experience and proven track record of leading and developing large scale sustainable contingent workforce delivery strategies within the Health or Public sectorsnExperience in implementation of new systems and processesnExperience managing large remote teamsnExtensive experience of formalised workforce planning, key workforce information and delivery within the Health and Public sectorsnKnowledge of employment legislation, specifically in relation to contingent workforce management, recruitment and resourcing.nKnowledge of best practice and developing trends in relation to elective workforce management, or willingness to learn this quickly.nExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation and influencing skillsnPrevious management experience, demonstrating ability to provide direction, enable others to perform and holding to account for performance.

nExperience of developing talent management and succession planning programmesnBudget management and procurement support experience
