The fundamental aim of the Active Schools Network is to offer children and young people the opportunities and motivation to adopt active, healthy lifestyles, now and into adulthood.
Under the direction of the Team Leader for Sport and Physical Activity, develop an infrastructure to recruit, support and sustain a network of volunteers, coaches, leaders and teachers who in turn deliver physical activity and sport before, during and after school and in the wider community.
the hourly rate is from £18.Please note this post is temporary until 31 August 2025.As part of this Active Schools Co-Ordinator role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sport and physical activity opportunities for care experienced young people and their families across South Ayrshire.
Monday to Friday - 8.This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007.
