National Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our UK Retail Sales Team.

Reporting to the National Account Controller, the National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing existing key accounts across the UK, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with customers.

Additionally, the candidate will play a crucial role in acquiring new accounts and expanding into new markets, across the UK and Ireland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively managing accounts in a multi-channel retail environment and driving growth in both traditional channels and e-commerce.
  • Identify new opportunities for business growth within existing and new accounts.
  • Provide timely forecasting figures in line with target and budget expectations.
  • Ability to identify market trends and explore alternative distribution channels to further grow the consumer business and drive our products within the UK & Ireland
  • Work closely with Finance and Marketing teams to develop strategic product and promotional plans to achieve indicated sales and profitability targets

What You'll Need

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a strong understanding of the retail sector.
  • Proven track record of success managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills / financial acumen
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues to achieve personal, team and company targets.
  • Good time management skills to include the co-ordination of multiple projects, ability to work with minimum supervision and delivery of results within strict deadlines.
  • A strong working knowledge of relevant software packages used in the office environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
