We currently offer the following position on a remote basis within the UK:Product Sales Specialist (d/f/m)
In this key sales role, you will be reporting to the Head of Sales UK within the Life Science research segment.
You will excel in your main tasks; sales growth, maintenance of margin and improving market share through your enthusiasm, sales skills, and passion for technology.
Please note that this is a field-based role in which you are required to travel extensively within the UK territory.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy - In close cooperation with UK Sales Manager and the sales team you will develop a Sales Strategy for the UK territory.
Ensure implementation in your own geography of agreed Sales methodology and tools, such as SFDC/Leica Microsystems Shop/Value selling.Evaluate product sales trends in comparison with competitive products. Direct appropriate actions to increase market shares.
Set priorities and accelerate product promotion and special selling efforts to optimize results.
Compete for developing new sales opportunities and acquire new customers.
Forecasting - Prepare accurate weekly and monthly pipeline data in SFDC for Sales Forecasts for CLSM products
Plan and carry out regular visits in cooperation with local Account Managers to existing customers to make sure your customer is satisfied.
Keep close contact to appropriate levels of Key Accounts, investigate their business needs and serve as main contact for them.
Plan and organize workshops at customer site; represent the company at trade meetings to promote products.Cooperate in the tender process with preparation of quotations and technical descriptions for public tenders as well as attending public tenders on behalf of the company.
YOUR PROFILE
Proven sales record in a similar environment.
A degree in Life Sciences, or equivalent, is an advantage, although of equal value is strong sales experience in a relevant industry.
Ability to drive business success through demonstrating consistent and impressive sales growth over a period of time.Demonstrate technical ability with high level Microscopy & Imaging products.
Enjoys thriving under pressure and likes to be challenged.
Strong communication skills, customer focus and a sound business acumen.
Clear orientation to results and be cost-sensitive.
Effective time management and personal organization.
Ambitious, with a growth mindset and a high sense of urgency, speed, and agility.
Process driven, willingness to learn and grow constantly.
