Liverpool City Council is seeking dedicated and experienced Social Workers to join their dynamic Duty and Assessment Team. This is an exciting time to join Liverpool as they are currently paying a competitive hourly rate of £42.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families referred to the Duty and Assessment Team.
  • Offer immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all assessments, interventions, and support provided.
  • Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
  • Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
  • Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings

Requirements:

  • 2 years post qualifying experience
  • Experience in Duty and Assessment team is preferable.
