The conferences and events team help to provide coordination and support to all business areas of the Bank.

As a planner, you will take responsibility and be a key part of the team on some of the Bank's most high profile and important events, along with supporting colleagues on large flagship projects.

Your key responsibilities

  • Organising an event from concept to completion (some virtual)
  • Overseeing budget management and approval, invoice management & reconciliation
  • Managing website builds, invitation & registration process, attendee tracking, reporting
  • Searching for venues, Audio Visual & production, Internal and external speaker management
  • Liaising with the business, key internal stakeholders
  • Full onsite event management venue, suppliers, attendees, and staff

Your skills and experience

  • Experience managing conferences and events as both sole lead & in support roles
  • Knowledge and experience of virtual conferences, virtual suppliers/platforms
  • Competent with conference registration systems, website building & content
  • Preferably experience working in Banking/large corporate
  • Motivated, reliable, a team player with a "can do/hands on" attitude
