The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and driving technological excellence.
This role will involve overseeing both the software development and data functions, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the software and data teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.nOversee the end-to-end development process, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software products.nManage data engineering projects, ensuring the efficient collection, storage, and analysis of data to support business objectives.nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.nImplement best practices in software development and data engineering, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.nDrive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and scalability.nMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.nStay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating relevant innovations into our technology stack.nProduce stats and report to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
n5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.nStrong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.nProven experience in data engineering, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data analysis and data science.nExcellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring talent.nStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.nProficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, .Net and/or JavaScript is highly desirable.nExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and data technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark).
