Information Officer

We have an exciting opportunity to join the award-winning Family Information Service. A small but dedicated team providing information to children, families, and young people.
This post will be a hybrid post with a mix of home working, office based and outreach.
You will be responsible for ensuring information about relevant services, events and resources is readily available, up to date and promoted where appropriate.
You will manage information and will use a variety of means to promote information to the public via, social media, Yor-OK website, our on-line search facility, outreach events and useful publications.
You will be experienced in working directly with members of the public and have very high customer service standards.Essential experience and skills include, but are not limited to:
A good understanding/experience of working with children and families
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent IT skills with experience of data analysis and providing management information
Experience of working effectively and in co-operation with a wide range of internal and external partners
Ability to prioritise workloads
We work closely with the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) and as such you will have a working understanding of child protection and safeguarding policy.
