Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced General Maintenance professional to join our team.
As a General Maintenance person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
This is a part-time position with excellent benefits, and could suit a retired person.Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily routine inspections of holiday cottages to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing faulty equipment, fixtures, or components
- Troubleshoot small carpentry issues, paint or decoration repair, plumbing problems and make necessary repairs.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of H&S maintenance checks
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or customers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience in general property maintenance, plumbing or carpentry.
- Practical skills with the ability to coordinate maintenance activities
- Proficient in tasks such as up putting up shelves, blinds, snagging paintwork.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical repairs an advantage but not essential.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to think logically and troubleshoot effectively
