New Seaham Medical Group are looking to recruit a part time Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, ideally with experience of working in primary care to work alongside our existing Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistants.
Working hours are negotiable and will ideally be 18 to 27 hours per week worked over 2 or 3 days.
Working days would be required on a Monday and Tuesday and flexible the other days depending on the hours.

Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by the partnership.
Chronic disease management Cytology Basic wound care / ulcer care Removal of sutures Urinalysis Venepuncture Blood pressure measurements Routine immunisations Chaperoning and assisting patients where appropriate who are being examined by another clinician Assisting clinicians with minor surgery and coil fittings Requesting basic pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to GPs as appropriateOther tasks including:
