Avanti are partnered with a global company looking for a fully remote Lead Developer to work predominantly with.
Net and Azure. This role could be suited to a Lead Developer or a Senior looking for a step up, and the company are happy with fully remote working(offices in Oxford and London if you did ever want to go in)

The company have grown beyond all expectations in the past 24 months. The salary is up to £80k. Strong experience around complex data, Azure functions and recent mentoring experience would be considered highly. Ultimately this role will be split betweenSolution architecture and team structuring (50%), and code reviews and hands-on coding (50%).

The team is currently 4, and the plan is for the company to grow their development with more teams of a similar size.


Among other technologies they use C#,.NET Core, WebAPI, Docker / Kubernetes, React/ Node/ Typescript or front end frameworks, Azure, Agile / Scrum, Dev Ops and CI/CD, NoSQL databases, Python and functional programming.

Not all required)

  • Experience across the product lifecycle in a modern engineering environment (APIs, CI/CD, Cloud infrastructure, Tests, Git, Agile, Scrum) NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core MVC and WebAPI) and , React and TypeScript (JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and experience in backend database technologies including MS SQL Server including good knowledge in query optimization
  • Working understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD and integrating systems into a deployment pipeline including cloud development (Azure preferred)
  • A solid understanding of objectorientation, idiomatic and patternoriented, modern software design, programming principles and development best practices
  • Experience in Python (Django framework preferred), and PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience of Cloud automation and migration tools
  • Experience of enterprise CMS (Content Management) systems
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of modern software development practices including Continuous Integration and Build, Test Driven Development, Domain-Driven Design, MVVM, and mock objects
