Bank Videographer and Editor

This role is to provide specialist technical and production expertise in audio/visual and digital content to support the Communications and Marketing in the delivery of Gloucester Research Education Group (GREG).

Working in collaboration with the GREG, Medical Photography and colleagues across the organisation to provide high quality creative digital, audio-visual communications, to support effective delivery


The post holder will help provide a high quality audio-visual creative communications service and expertise to GREG and Gloucestershire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Support the development of multimedia content for GREG websites, social media platforms and other areas. Where appropriate, the post holder will also provide relevant digital content for external use in other NHS organisations.

  • Reporting directly to the Learning Technologist, the role will provide specialist technical and production expertise in audio/visual and digital content to support the Communications and Marketing in the delivery of Gloucester Research Education Group (GREG).
  • Working in collaboration with the GREG, Medical Photography and colleagues across the organisation to provide high quality creative digital, audiovisual communications, to support effective delivery.
  • Help provide a high quality audiovisual creative communications service and expertise to GREG and Gloucestershire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Support the development of multimedia content for GREG websites, social media platforms and other areas. Where appropriate, the post holder will also provide relevant digital content for external use in other NHS organisations.
  • Ensure that all audiovisual content meets accessibility, GREG, NHS branding and equality and diversity requirements.
  • Implement Creative Service audio/visual briefs, meeting agreed timescales, providing and interpreting feedback to make appropriate adjustments to ensure satisfactory completion of the assigned task.
  • Coordinate audiovisual projects and have collective editorial responsibility for the production of high quality internal and external communications audio/visual digital content

Gloucestershire Retinal Education Group became established in 2006, and since then we have supported a large number of students through our various courses.

Our course team are recognised experts in medical retinal diseases and are experienced in curriculum development and learning delivery.

The service we provide to our students, and more recently, assessors and IQAs, is outstanding with a very high success and completion rate.

Job Purpose

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Aptitude Required

  • Educated to Degree level in appropriate communications, media or video
