Your new role
- Working as part of an established HR Leadership team, the main purpose of the role is to develop and lead the HR Services team, providing consistent and efficient support to the firm.
- The role will involve identifying trends, common issues and peak periods to ensure that the HR Services team is fully equipped to meet the needs of the firm and run an effective operational service.
- As HR Delivery Manager, you will be passionate about the client experience; constantly looking for ways to improve this and make their life easier by:
- Ensuring the HR Services team is appropriately resourced and that they are receiving the appropriate level of support/development to build capability and deliver a high quality, professional and efficient operational service in line with service level agreements
- To act as an escalation point for complex or unprecedented operational HR queries and/or issues, making a comprehensive assessment of the issue, a clear decision for action and consideration of any knock on effects
- Working with internal communications team to deliver firmwide updates on key operational HR activities and to encourage selfservice using the HR intranet page, SharePoint site and user guides
- Annual review of policies and associated documentation
- Lead HR Delivery projects to continuously improve existing ways of working, policies and processes, but also develop new ones where there is a business requirement. This will involve researching HR best practice and current employment law to inform thereview/development, engaging with stakeholders across the business to ensure endtoend business processes are aligned and optimized and ensuring effective communication of any changes made
- To work closely with Risk & Compliance (R&C) team where HR Delivery projects have regulatory or compliance implications
- To support with management of the HR system, including: Driving system adoption within the HR team and across the firm; Acting as an escalation point for queries or issues, liaising with the system provider as needed to achieve a resolution, and effectivecommunication of the resolution; Regular review of the system for development/improvement opportunities, including system upgrades delivered by the system provider.
- Liaising with the system provider and other internal stakeholders to execute testing, delivery and training as needed
- Regular review/update of system user guides for HR Services team and the wider firm
- Championing diversity and inclusion aspirations, ensuring ways of working, policies and processes are reflective of this
