As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be accountable for the following:

  • Management of direct reports, including recruitment, performance management, reward, recognition, training, and development.
  • Allocation and prioritization of resources to achieve operational goals and objectives, ensuring internal/external customer satisfaction.
  • Coordination and oversight of daily operations and workflow.
  • Ensuring On Time and In Full (OTIF) delivery to internal and external customers.
  • Effecting changes to production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Prompt communication of operational changes/concerns to relevant departments (e.g., material shortages, defective/damaged parts).
  • Prioritization and closure of routine activities such as ZIP audits, training compliance, layered audits, skill development, and housekeeping audits.
  • Achievement of KPIs including Driver safety standards, Transport, Delivery, and Stock movement.
  • Utilization of SAP MRP and systems for accurate stock control and material flow management.
  • Compilation and reporting of management information (e.g., stock levels, customer deliveries).
  • Identification and intervention on issues affecting operations, escalating as per the escalation procedure.
  • Promotion of collaborative and crossfunctional working.
  • Adherence to quality standards and requirements, including all QMS related items, for self and direct reports.
  • Adherence to all legal and safety requirements, including Driver safety standards, for self and direct reports.

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
