Main Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse machinery in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to speed limits and good practice.
  • Complete daily checks on forklift vehicles prior to operation.
  • Take delivery of goods and supplies, and accurately record quantities and update the warehouse system.
  • Carry out quality checks and identify any damaged or missing items.
  • Store goods in accordance with instructions and pick and pack orders efficiently.
  • Load goods for dispatch and store and deliver goods internally to the correct locations.
  • Reconcile computer stock levels with physical stock levels when requested by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Pick products accurately from a provided pick list.
  • Develop strong relationships and effective communication with internal departments.
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures and complete relevant paperwork.
  • Recognize potential problems and inform the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
  • Attend and comply with all company training and ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn as required.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • VNA FLT License (preferred).
  • Ability to work to strict targets and deadlines.
