Job Description

The AV team is a highly collaborative, honest, supportive and proactive bunch of people who believe in going the extra mile to deliver a job brilliantly done. The team is made up of over 30 hardworking and dedicated people who are above all passionate about media and specifically, TV, Video On Demand, and Cinema.

The clients range from large to small in terms of spend and we are able to provide each with the best solution they need for AV. We have weekly meetings as a department and keep each other updated with what is happening. The team are also great at helping each other when needed.

As Account Director for TV you will have full responsibility for your team of TV experts and their output. This role has several high-profile accounts and would benefit an ambitious individual who has the vision and skills to help brands through a turbulent marketplace and help them navigate through the hurdles that the AV landscape is facing. You will need to be future-facing and have knowledge of the latest goings-on in the TV landscape.

You will be expected to develop media strategies and work closely with other investment channels (wider AV, Digital/Publishing & Audio) and with the comms planning team to deliver
integrated, innovative and commercially successful plans for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of account managers, down to more junior members of staff.
  • Deliver and set an example of brilliant client and/or media owner service with a full understanding of the client's organisational structure
  • Work collaboratively with Planning and Investment teams to deliver quality, timely responses
  • Be proactive and results-orientated in day-to-day client and/or campaign management
  • Lead managerial training of appropriate systems and technology to get under the skin of audience behaviour and consumption of TV, VOD, and Cinema
Qualifications
  • Ability to plan and present in-depth rationales spanning TV, Video on Demand, Connected TV, and Cinema mediums
  • Expert knowledge of the media auditing process
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Advanced presentation skills – comfortable presenting regularly to groups of all shapes and sizes
  • Expert knowledge of the TV marketplace and the latest innovations.
  • Ability to work well with a diverse range of people from the CEO to the entry-level graduates at Publicis, client-side, and media owners too
