Overview:

nWorking in our Stockport office for a fast-paced software company, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and qualifying potential clients.

Your primary focus will be on lead generation, qualification, and collaboration with both the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.


Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

nConduct thorough research to identify potential clients and generate high-quality leads for the sales team.nUtilise various prospecting methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media, to engage with potential customers.


Qualification of Leads:

nQualify leads through effective communication to understand their needs, challenges, and level of interest in the company's products or services.nWork closely with sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads for further engagement.


Database Management:

nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.nRegularly clean and update the prospect database to ensure data integrity and improve targeting for future outreach.


Communication and Follow-up:nCommunicate effectively with potential clients to articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.nFollow up on leads promptly, nurture relationships, and provide additional information as needed to move leads through the sales funnel.


Collaboration with Marketing:

nCollaborate with the marketing team to align outreach strategies with broader marketing campaigns.nProvide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing materials and suggest improvements based on prospect interactions.


Reporting and Analytics:

nGenerate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and pipeline contribution.nAnalyse data to identify trends and insights that can inform adjustments to the SDR strategy and improve overall sales performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related fieldnHigh energy and a results-driven mindsetnAbility to deliver proactive customer engagement and supportnDetail-oriented with the ability to spot opportunities and follow throughnExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsnStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
