We are seeking experienced end-to-end payroll supervisor to join a business on a 12 month contract for a company in St Albans.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is innovative, passionate and happy to get into the detail.


Although this role will look after monthly payroll it will also be multifaceted working with line managers and external stakeholders as well as producing key reports as required by the business.

A great position to make a lasting impression and support with a new system implementation in the coming months.

Key role responsibilities include:

  • Manage monthly payroll
  • Reporting quarterly bonus, sales bonus, future payroll requirements
  • Process improvement
  • Year end
  • Ensure benefit payments are made accordingly.
  • P11ds
  • Identify processes that can be streamlined to increase productivity
  • Work with HR team on business opportunities
  • Work with insurance brokers, benefit vendors and external benefits providers. Support the HR Manager ensuring reports and data analysis
  • Evaluate employees satisfaction with benefit packages
  • Research new benefits as required
  • Work with HR Manager with job analysis and compensation classifications
  • Support new system implementation

Role requirements include:

  • End to end inhouse payroll experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
- iTrent or Business Objects or Workday experience

  • Proactive in improving business processes
  • Flexible in approach
  • Solution focused
  • Team player
This role is a 12 month contract so they are looking for someone on short notice to start ASAP.

The role will be office based 3 days a week Monday - Wednesday. With some additional days as required.
