Your role as a Facilities Engineer will involve a hands-on approach to handling breakdowns, planned maintenance, and project work, Ensuring all products manufactured meet safety, legal, and customer quality standards
Main Responsibilities:
Comply with all Company Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, Ensure working practices meet Health & Safety legislation, industry standards, and Company procedures, Maintain top-notch quality and compliance standards through good safety, quality, and technical practices, Oversee the operation and compliance of onsite facilities, Manage general facilities onsite, Record and manage all maintenance activities on the CMMS system, Maintain excellent communication and working relationships, Continuously expand your Engineering knowledge and skills, Conduct Root Cause Analysis on breakdowns and implement solutions
CANDIDATE Must have:
Electrical training with industrial maintenance experience, Knowledge of 3 phase and single phase systems, Familiarity with motors and inverters, Minimum of an Electrical qualification level 3, Understanding of Electrical/Mechanical drawings, Compliance with necessary H&S legislation, Certified in 17th/18th Edition IEE regulations, Completion of IOSH training/HSE training, Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desirable:
Legionella awareness, Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, forklift license, Experience with maintenance management systems, Knowledge of installation of electrical supplies in industrial environments, Experience with refrigeration systems (ammonia), compressed air systems, and effluent treatment systems, Understanding of water cooling towers maintenance,
HVAC & BMS systems maintenanceMon-Fri Office Hours, flexibility around start/finish timesBenefits:
Opportunity to earn up to 10% through the annual incentive scheme (bonus) – contingent on company performance, with additional on-call bonusSick pay: 12 weeks full pay and 12 weeks half pay in a 12-month rolling period (after probation which is 3 months)
Holiday: 25 days, plus 8 bank holidays, with additional days based on years of service up to a maximum of 5 days
Pension: 5% employer contribution, minimum 3% employee contribution.
