Orka Financial is currently partnering with a global services business based in Bracknell that is looking to recruit an FP&A Manager to join the team.

This role reports directly into the CFO and manages a Finance Business partner and has responsibility foranalysing and understanding the financial performance of the business.

You will lead both the monthly forecast process and the broader planning process.

Duties will include,

  • Forecast & Planning: Coordinate the forecasting and planning process across multiple business units
  • Lead discussions on determining optimal levels of spend with functional heads and proactively recommend solutions that align to overall financial strategy
  • Financial Performance & trends: Track financial performance monthly and identifies trends that may impact the future
  • Business Forecast :Forecast business performance based on KPI's, historical performance and a sound understanding of daytoday operations and business model
  • Present Financial Reports: Prepare and present reports & KPIs
  • Financial Models: Provide decision support for special projects and initiatives by elaborating accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes and develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Development & Improvements: Oversee and manage the continued development of rolling forecasting, operating plan and modelling tools
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate scenarios and processes to drive efficiencies


Within this position you will be expected to understand and shape business performance - and to become the go-to person for business/financial analysis and insights.

You will be leading the preparation and consolidation of the overall forecasting and planningprocess, including contributing to the formulation of the financial strategy and the shaping of specific management reporting


The role requires someone with a solid background is financial planning and analysis and the ability to work closely with the business to advise from a finance perspective.

This would suit a qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) who is keen to work in a fastpaced environment who has excellent communication and presentation skills.
