Your new companyA leading manufacturing company are going through an exciting period of expansion and are looking for a Commodity Manager to join their team. You will be working for a brand that have been established in Britain and are renowned around Europe.
Your new role

  • As a Commodity Manager you will provide Procurement expertise in order to manage a high value commodity package in line with the relevant industry regulations.
  • Key development of long term relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Able to deal with a diverse and complicated workload ensuring sound outcomes.
  • Identify areas to reduce costs and maximise profit margins

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent communication skills and able to negotiate in a high pressured environment
  • CIPS qualified or education at degree level qualification
  • A strong Engineering Procurement background is desirable
  • Resilient and self motivated individual able to communicate and present to senior directors
  • Excellent time management ensuring company deadline are met on time
  • Broad understanding of commodities managed at all levels
  • Clean UK driving license
