We're seeking Fraud Investigators to join our Counter Fraud Services team either in Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

As part of a dynamic and expanding team, you'll be responsible for safeguarding the business and customers from the repercussions of fraud. Your role will involve investigating suspected fraudulent claims, ranging from low-speed impacts to staged collisions.

  • Case Management: Oversee investigations from start to finish, ensuring all necessary steps are taken
  • Investigative Techniques: Proficient in utilizing various methods for gathering evidence and conducting interviews

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work partially from home and partially from the office. Living within a commutable distance from Haywards Heath, West Sussex, would be advantageous. However, the choice of office or remote work is yours to make.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough investigations and collecting evidence on suspected fraudulent claims
  • Engaging in telephone interviews with customers and external suppliers
  • Assessing evidence to identify inconsistencies and determine outcomes
  • Recognizing cases of potential dishonesty and providing support to mitigate fraud risks
  • Adhering to fraud-related KPIs and targets

Experience & knowledge requirements:

  • Experience in handling fraudulent claims and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of motor insurance fraud and the purpose of a Counter Fraud Team
  • Understanding of legal proceedings and regulatory responsibilities
  • Familiarity with FCA requirements and general insurance regulations
