About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intelligence Analyst to join our Counter Fraud Services team in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our business from fraud risks by receiving, triaging, and disseminating all sourced intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete complex desktop research reports to identify potential fraud risks
  • Review and analyze fraudulent claims and policies to identify trends and patterns
  • Manage fraud operations and ensure compliance with company financial crime procedures and policies
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB), Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department (IFED), and Insurance Fraud Investigators Group (IFIG)
  • Stay up-to-date with market counter fraud activities and related fraud/financial crime legislation
Requirements
  • Proven motor insurance claims and policy experience
  • Fraud intelligence handling experience in the general insurance (motor) environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adopt a logical approach to resolving problems
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic to intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills
