About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at AWE Plc. As a key member of our Business Operations team, you will play a crucial role in managing operational delivery of management information, analysis, and recommendations to enable decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions to deliver high-quality reports and presentation packs for executive, board, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the design, continuous improvement, and change control of reporting templates to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Analyze performance data to provide an integrated view of key risks and issues within the function, recommending effective actions to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
  • Design, manage, configure, and automate local and enterprise Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business decision-making.
  • Develop processes, procedures, standards, and tools to ensure reporting consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage the local area Reporting Standard, setting policies and protocols for reporting, and ensuring compliance with company management systems.
  • Automate and manage the production of locally owned KPIs, ensuring approval through local governance.
  • Author and issue narrative to communicate key performance messages to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the storage and maintenance of reporting documentation and records in line with the AWE document management policy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies, including data visualization and reporting software.
