Counter Admin Support Assistant

As a Counter Admin Support Assistant, you will be expected to:

  • Co-ordinate and facilitate all customer requirements within a growing trade supplies, regional branch. A predominantly trade counter, sales based role, you will be the main point of contact for a general and dedicated customer base, ensuring excellent customer service is up kept at all times and opportunities to generate increased sales opportunities for the business executed
  • Liaising with all other departments (Yard, logistics etc.) within Sovini Trade Supplies to ensure customers' orders are efficiently processed.
  • Ensuring all customer issues/complaints are dealt with swiftly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction levels are of the highest standard.
- operate the BISTRACK system without error and administer all transactions as per Company guidelines

  • Assisting with picking of customer orders as and when required, ensuring Sovini Trade Supplies are providing a firstclass customer experience.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all products and materials (i.e. qualities, uses, sizes, quantities, availability etc.) and to understand what items / building materials are required for both Trade & Retail Customer's needs.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment.
- meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives

  • Taking part in all stock takes. Ensuring all stock takes are managed in accordance with procedures
  • Scanning in of paperwork
  • Actively promoting offers and deals.
  • Card and cash handling
  • Any other tasks to be carried out that are instructed by management.

To be successful in a Counter Admin Support Assistant role, the skills you will need**:

  • Experience in raising customer orders, purchase orders and dealing general customer enquires using a dedicated ERP system

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:

  • Experience of working on a builder's merchant trade counter.
  • Experience of working within a building supplies Industry.
