This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership at a strategic and operational level in the transformation and development of a full range of Student Experience services across the College.
As a member of the Strategic Leadership team, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to promote and support positive experiences for all students and will provide leadership in the development of internal and external partnerships which will support all aspects of the student journey.
You will lead the transformation and integration of the range of Student Experience services including the Education Support Service, Information Hub, Student Engagement and Wellbeing Service, Careers and Employability Service, Counselling Service and Partnership Liaison Services. In addition, you will also provide professional leadership to the Student Experience Team, in the implementation of student support services to provide integrated and student focused services across the College which will have a key focus on achieving successful outcomes in relation to student recruitment, retention and attainment.
You will be educated to SCQF level 9, degree level or equivalent, within a subject area relevant to the role, and will have a post graduate qualification in management/ learning support or equivalent managerial experience. A BRITE qualification is also desirable.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Scottish Funding Council approach to funding policy and implementation, current government policy, in relation to social inclusion and further and higher education, and current legislative frameworks is essential, together with experience in the management of teams within a student support environment.
