Description

  • Oversee the operation of accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to improve system efficiencies
  • Conduct system audits to ensure data integrity
  • Develop and implement system controls to prevent discrepancies
  • Participate in financial projects and system implementations
  • Train staff on new systems and procedures
  • Resolve system-related issues as they arise
  • Generate regular reports for management review

Profile

A successful Systems Accountant should have:

  • A professional accountancy qualification - CIMA, ACCA or ICAS
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

This role will have a minimum of 2 days per week on site close to Inverness

Job Offer
