Job Title: Financial Accountant - Europlan Group

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Europlan Group. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, working closely with various departments to ensure financial targets are met.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and manage the company's tax reporting and filing requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and provide recommendations for cost-saving and profit optimization.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Coordinate and support annual financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Cash Management: Manage daily cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions to optimize liquidity.
  • Financial Systems: Collaborate with the IT department to improve and enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Financial Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine financial processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to provide financial information and support for decision-making.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or professional accounting qualification is a plus).

Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.

Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance. Previous experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry is a plus. Additional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.) is a plus.
