- Educated to degree level
- Practice supervisor/Assessor
- Masters qualification or relevant masters level of experience in specilist areas
- Has relevant post registration experience.
- Experience of working as a senior band 6 midwife role
- Practice development or management of projects or initiatives
- Experience in people management and improving the patient experience
- Experience of change management/implementation of practice change
- Demonstrated experience of delivering and co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
- Ability to work across professional boundaries
- Evidence of ability to motivate and develop multi-professional teams
- Experience of identifying and interpreting national policy
- Advanced IT skills. Ability to demonstrate the required expertise associated with a senior midwife role
- Good team worker ability, autonomous practitioner
