Job Overview

The Emergency & Integrated Medicine Care Service Unit (ICSU) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join a busy team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator.

Main Responsibilities

The Patient Pathway Coordinator will assist patients throughout their hospital experience to ensure timely, efficient, and appropriate care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient management of patients throughout their pathway
  • Providing a single point of contact for patients' appointments and ensuring their experience is central to every stage of the patient journey
  • Identifying and escalating potential breaches of RTT (referral to treatment) waiting times targets to relevant managers
