About the Sales Consultant role at JT Dove:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the sales team at our Berwick branch.



  • Selling a diverse range of products to retail and trade customers.
  • Meeting sales targets.
  • Monitoring performance and suggesting improvements.
  • Understanding customer requirements accurately.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Ensuring accurate order pricing.
  • Managing and organizing stock.
  • Contributing to stocktake planning.
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintaining high standards of layout and display.
  • Adhering to credit control, cash handling, and security protocols.
  • Conducting precise stock checks when needed.
  • Utilizing merchandising opportunities and promotional activities.
  • Handling customer complaints effectively.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Prior customer service or sales experience, preferably in a merchant setting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Interest in developing a career in sales.
  • Passion for delivering top-notch customer service.
  • Drive to achieve targets.
  • Ability to be resilient, adaptable, and prioritize effectively.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30 am to 5:00 pm with alternate Saturdays 08:00 am to 12:00 pm.
