We are looking for a Full-Time Supervisor for our Bakery and Wine store which is perfectly situated within the hidden gem of a cobbled courtyard known as Neals Yard, just off Monmouth Street, Covent Garden.
We are looking for an experienced Store Supervisor who has a good knowledge and interest in Fresh breads, pastries and wines, and who shares our love of food to join our passionate team.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Previous experience as a Retail Sales assistant or Waiter within a fresh food, retail or restaurant business, some bakery knowledge would be an advantage.
- Passion for delivering great food and customer service, who inspires others with their energy and desire to please our customers.
- A good knowledge and passion for wine, especially French wines will be of benefit.
- An open, engaging and friendly personality who has the confidence to talk knowledgeably to our clients about our wines and bakery products, and upsell with assurance.
- Excellent attention to detail, calm under pressure, resilient and shows initiative.
- Able to work as part of the St JOHN team and on their own initiative
- Excellent Time management.
- Self-Motivated and innovative.

Since the original St JOHN restaurant opened in Smithfield in 1994, the now famous Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver (Founding Directors) have grown their unique and eclectic group of restaurants to include three Restaurants and three retail bakeries as well as St.
John Wines.
