IT Finance Administrator to join our IT Business Office team within Reassure IT Operations

The role


As the IT Finance Administrator you will be working closing with a range of stakeholders to ensure purchase orders and invoices are processed in line with our Prompt Payment Code principles.

As part of the role you will also support in planning, reporting and administering our budget working closely with Finance and Suppliers.

You will also be responsible for management the annual repeatable process executing renewals and leading the forums to ensure contracts are reviewed, renewed and processed on time.

The role will report to the Senior Finance Administrator and jointly will work to ensure deadlines are met and activities are processed on time every time.


What are we looking for?


You will be expected to be involved in all the above but with a particular focus on helping with IT Cost Management.

You will ensure that we have appropriate MI and control mechanisms in place to govern our costs and be comfortable working with budgets and forecasting.

You will be working across multiple stakeholder groups and therefore should be able to communicate clearly and effectively.


You will be required to be well organised, self-sufficient, motivated and always looking to improve current ways of working, using your analytical skills to obtain information, provide insight and to propose solutions to problems and to work more efficiently.


You will help manage IT financial spending processes including Purchase Order requisition and invoice processing & ensuring we meet the Prompt Payment Code whilst ensuring that there is appropriate MI on costs across the function and where relevant the Group costs that need to be transferred.


You will work closely with our colleagues in finance and department leads to assist in administering our Cost Centres through reconciliation and forecasting.

Identifying risks (overspend and opportunities (savings) will play a key aspect of the role.


You will also attend and support various forums for approvals and governance whilst striving to drive continuous improvement in the financial management processes.
