To support our sites, we are now recruiting a Compliance Business Partner to join our compliance team based in Wakefield.


What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day activity will be based around our site compliance.

We have over a million visitors a year and Health and Safety compliance is a paramount part of our culture.

Ideally you will be a specialist in fire safety, complementing our team who between them hold other specialisations.

Your day is never going to be boring or the same. You may be working on an investigation, reviewing safety reports or auditing safety via our CCTV feeds.

You may be liaising with our third-party suppliers and contractors or working with our in-house facilities teams on aspects of each of our sites.


Your main Responsibilities:

  • You must come from a similar background and ideally have qualifications in the safety field.
  • You understand how to understand data.
  • You are IT literate, and able to produce reports in Excel and PowerPoint
  • A background in Leisure operations would be advantageous.
  • The reviewing of safety reports will be something you have experience in
  • Specialist Fire safety knowledge would be of particular interest to us.
  • Level 3+ qualification in Safety, Risk, or position related General Compliance.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management position with responsibilities and accountabilities relating to health, safety, and compliance in a highrisk activity environment
  • Experience completing and leading safety and compliance audits at location level.


The standard working week is Monday to Friday and 40 hours, however there may be the occasional need to work outside of these hours.

You may also be required from time-to-time work at one of our sites, so flexibility is a must.

You will also need a full manual driving licence with no more than 3 points for this position.
