What you'll be doing

This is a role in the Prudential Risk team at Paragon Bank. This team is part of the Risk and Compliance Function. The role reports into the Prudential Risk Director. The role includes:

Day to day oversight over prudential risks including capital management, liquidity management and treasury and market risk management. Reviewing relevant ALCO papers and providing 2LOD commentary where required Undertaking the annual review of risk appetite (liquidity, IRRBB etc) Supporting the annual review of the ICAAP Supporting ongoing horizon scanning and reporting of regulatory and market developments

About You

What you'll bring to the team

The role forms a key part of a small team providing oversight across prudential risks (capital, liquidity, and market risk), we are looking for candidates that have:

Experience of working in similar sized banks in either the first or second line Technical knowledge and experience in prudential risk (ideally a focus on liquidity risk management) Strong stakeholder management skills Good communication skills Effective team working skills This is a 6 month fixed term contract working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, there will be a requirement to work in the London office two days per week.
