Oxbow Resourcing is partnering with a challenger bank to recruit a Senior Prudential Risk Analyst for its dynamic Risk Management team. This role, based in London, Milton Keynes, or Wilmslow, offers a fantastic opportunity to influence the risk landscape of the bank.

As a Senior Prudential Risk Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in operational activities, guiding strategic decisions and advancing the risk management agenda.
Your Responsibilities:
- Risk Analysis and Monitoring: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the bank's risk exposure through financial statement analysis, market trend assessments, regulatory compliance reviews, and internal control evaluations. Monitor and assess risk factors to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Regulatory Documentation: Aid in preparing and maintaining essential regulatory documents such as ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP.
- Stress Testing: Contribute to devising and executing stress tests and scenario analyses to ensure resilience under diverse conditions.
- Reporting: Deliver extensive management information, reports, and risk management updates on dashboards to help the bank manage its risk profile effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for enhancing processes within the risk management framework and implement innovative methodologies and tools to bolster risk assessment capabilities.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in a reputable lending environment, with a track record of assisting in regulatory document completion.
- Knowledge: Profound comprehension of UK banking regulations and risk-related standards. Proficiency in credit, operational, market, and capital risk management is highly advantageous.
- Skills: Strong Excel proficiency and familiarity with other analytical tools, coupled with a solid statistical background for data interpretation and report generation. Excellent communication abilities to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attributes: Self-motivated with outstanding time management and organizational skills. Your enterprising attitude propels you to achieve autonomously, thriving in a dynamic, interdisciplinary setting.
