We are currently undergoing recruitment for a Logistics Coordinator within the outskirts of Oswestry. This is a straight to permanent position with a starting salary of £27,000 per annum.

The working hours are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all loading and unloading bays are assigned to deal with all incoming and outgoing orders
  • Manage in house vehicles, making sure all maintenance, checks and logs are kept up to date
  • Implement and create best practice logistics and crewing principles, policies and processes across the business to improve operational and financial performance
  • Working with platforms to manage the aspects of the job (Team Track and Current RMS)
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, booking, managing and evaluating logistics operations across a range of external projects liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, crew, transportation companies and customers
  • Be available to answer questions that project and/or production managers might have around booking in crew and transport
  • Administration tasks
  • Overseeing with loading/unloading of vehicles and assisting to ensure safe and secure loads
  • Occasional work outside of stated roles to assist with warehouse operations
  • The ability to working both alone and as part of a team
  • To suit an upbeat and selfmotivated individual who enjoys working systematically and productively

Experience and Qualifications

  • IT skills (Google suite, TeamTrack and/or Current RMS) preferred
  • Full driving licence
  • Industry standard qualifications ( plant tickets, Health and Safety, First Aid)
  • Proven track record within events, crewing, transportation or warehousing sectors preferred
