Job Summary
Anderson Scott Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planning Specialist to join their team. As an Event Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events from planning to post-event evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning: Work with clients and internal stakeholders to understand event goals and objectives, and develop event plans that meet their needs.
- Venue Management: Research and secure venues, catering, entertainment, and other vendors to ensure a successful event.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts with vendors and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Event Logistics: Create and manage event logistics, including literature and merchandise orders, and colleague and delegate packs.
- Event Execution: Oversee event setup and breakdown, and coordinate with on-site colleagues to ensure a smooth event flow.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Develop and distribute post-event surveys and reports to measure event success.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Personal Qualities: Team player with a positive attitude, and a clean driving license.
