Event Coordinator Opportunity

Anderson Scott Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join their expanding team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of various events throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and goals.
  • Research and secure venues, catering, entertainment, and other vendors as required.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Develop and manage event logistics, including literature and merchandise orders, and colleague and delegate packs.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown as needed.
  • Coordinate with on-site colleagues to ensure a smooth event flow.
  • Develop and distribute post-event surveys and reports.
  • Stay informed about current event trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (desirable).
  • A clean driving licence.
  • Team player with a positive attitude who will support colleagues to achieve our shared vision.
